These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and ExpenseFlow AI(“ExpenseFlow”, “we”, “our”), operated by Aditya Raj.
By registering an account, accessing our web applications, installing our Progressive Web App (PWA), or downloading the ExpenseFlow Android APK package, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our companion Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.
02.Eligibility & Account Security
To create an account and access ExpenseFlow AI:
You must be at least 18 years of age or possess the legal capacity to form a binding contract under your local jurisdiction.
You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete registration credentials and keep them updated.
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, session cookies, and one-time verification tokens (OTP). You must notify us immediately at our helpdesk of any unauthorized account activity.
03.License & Software Use
Subject to these Terms, ExpenseFlow AI grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and use the software for personal financial tracking and management. You may not:
Sub-license, resell, lease, or commercially exploit the platform without explicit written authorization.
Decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the backend statement parsing engines or OCR algorithms.
Use automated scrapers, crawlers, or fuzzers that overload server capacity or compromise API stability.
04.Statement Uploads & Data Ownership
When uploading bank statements, credit card PDFs, or transaction spreadsheets:
You represent and warrant that you own or possess legal authorization to upload the respective financial records.
You grant ExpenseFlow AI a temporary, localized technical license strictly to parse, categorize, format, and present your data back to you in dashboard charts and AI copilot conversations.
You own your data: ExpenseFlow AI does not claim any ownership rights over your financial statements or transaction records. You can export or delete them anytime.

Informational Use Only: ExpenseFlow AI is an automated productivity application. We are NOT a certified financial planner, chartered accountant, investment broker, or tax consultant.
Heuristic Approximations: Financial Health Scores, savings ratios, cash leak alerts, and AI copilot responses are generated algorithmically. While engineered for precision, automated OCR and AI models can occasionally misclassify merchants or misinterpret complex statement layouts.
User Due Diligence: You are solely responsible for cross-verifying transaction totals before making binding investments, filing official tax returns, or executing debt consolidation strategies.
06.Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to engage in any prohibited activities, including:
Uploading malicious executable payloads disguised as bank statement PDF or CSV files.
Attempting to bypass our API rate limits, brute-force OTP tokens, or compromise session cookies.
Accessing or attempting to access private transaction vaults belonging to other users.
Using the platform for fraudulent money laundering simulations or deceptive financial representations.
07.Subscriptions, Free Tier, Trials & Refunds
Free Plan: Our Free Forever plan requires no credit card and allows ongoing manual tracking and basic monthly analytics.
Pro & Team Subscriptions: Premium tiers provide automated OCR uploads, autonomous AI copilot chat, and family vaults. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring Monthly or Annual cadence.
14-Day Free Trial: First-time Pro subscribers receive a 14-day zero-risk trial. If cancelled during the trial period, no charges are assessed.
Cancellation & Refunds: You can cancel your subscription at any time with 1 click from your Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the conclusion of your current billing cycle.
08.Intellectual Property
The ExpenseFlow AI name, trademarks, logos, interface designs, frontend components, and backend source code are the exclusive intellectual property of Aditya Raj and protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any proprietary rights to the user, except the limited revocable license explicitly provided herein.
09.Account Termination & Data Wipe
You may terminate your account at any time without penalty by navigating to Settings → Delete Account. Executing account deletion immediately wipes all associated transactions, statements, budgets, and personal records from our database.
ExpenseFlow AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Acceptable Use policy, attempt security intrusions, or abuse server infrastructure.
10.Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
IN NO EVENT SHALL EXPENSEFLOW AI, ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA CORRUPTION, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON AUTOMATED STATISTICAL METRICS.
11.Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of these Terms, the parties agree to first attempt informal resolution by submitting a detailed notice to our support desk. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of jurisdiction in India.
